Proverbs – Encouragement for Better Living – Part 2
Pastor Eric shared part two in the series: “Proverbs – Encouragement for Better Living”
This series is diving into the book or Proverbs. Teaching God’s children the importance of godly wisdom, being able to discern between wisdom and knowledge.
Two keys to achieving wisdom were discussed this past Sunday: last Sunday we were given 3 keys (seeking, hearing, fearing):
4) Love constructive feedback: God loves us enough to encourage us and advise us when something is limiting our potential and our purpose. This correction is an act of LOVE!
5) Trust God: it’s easy to trust God when life adds up, when things are going well and our way. But it’s essential for us to trust God when things don’t add up. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight”.
