My brother-in-law, David Fowlow, retired recently. With time on his hands, he has gotten into the habit of writing some early morning devotionals and posting them on Facebook. It’s a great way to start the day – the writing of a devotional, and the reading and mediating on what is posted. It’s using Facebook for something very positive. There are a couple of things I like about the devotionals that he writes. First, they tend to be always positive and inspiring. And, secondly, there is an emphasis on several scriptures. I’ve copied one of his recent postings below. Take a minute to meditate on its content. Check out his Facebook page for more: https://www.facebook.com/david.fowlow?fref=ts

Trust you all had a good nights rest; feeling refreshed to start another day that The Lord is giving us. I can imagine seeing parents getting their PRECIOUS CHILDREN ready for school!!! Some taking the Bus. Precious memories my wife and I have! Especially Trying to Hurry our Son out the door to catch the bus S L O W L Y dragging his feet!!! LOL. He was not a morning person. He will be 38 on his next birthday! How time flies! LORD BLESS HIM TODAY… A verse of Scripture I like to share with you is found in 2nd Corinthians Ch.4: Vs.6-7
For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness hath shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this Treasure in Earthen Vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God,and not of us. Beautiful words….
I Pray that The Light of God’s Love will be BRIGHTLY BURNING in our HEARTS today SHINING FORTH the CHARACTER of CHRIST. May God Richly Bless you all today in EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO….. BLESSINGS TO ALL!!!
