New Beginning Church Hosts the Community Flea Market Event on Victoria Day Weekend!

Clarence-Rockland, February 7th, 2024: New Beginning Church is excited to host the Community Flea Market event, scheduled to take place on May 20th, 2024. (In case of rain, May 25th, 2024). This event promises to be a highlight of the Victoria Day Weekend in Rockland, offering residents and visitors a unique opportunity to buy and sell a variety of items while supporting a worthy cause.

Given that the scouts will not host the event this year, and that this initiative/tradition has proven to be such a wonderful community event in the past, we’ve made the decision to temporarily host this event until the scouts are ready to resume it.

At the New Beginning Church Community Flea Market, vendors will be able to rent space to sell their items, and all proceeds from the rental will go directly to Hands of Hope, a free used clothing ministry serving needy families in the Clarence-Rockland and Prescott-Russell area. Hands of Hope, a subsidiary ministry of New Beginning Church, is dedicated to providing clothing assistance to individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Hands of Hope and to support families in our community through this initiative,” said Pastor Eric Tremblay. “Our mission is to provide clothing assistance to those in need, and the proceeds from this event will go a long way in helping us achieve that goal.”

The Community Flea Market in Clarence-Rockland will take place at New Beginning Church located at 954 Giroux St., Rockland, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Vendors interested in selling items at the event can reserve a space by contacting 613-446-7586.

Kindly note that refunds won’t be available if you choose to cancel. All proceeds will be allocated to cover relevant expenses for organizing this event and supporting Hands of Hope.

Additionally, bookings for 2 spots receive a 10% discount, 3 spots enjoy a 15% discount, and 4 spots receive a 20% discount. If ordering multiple tables, please call 613-446-7586 before to insure you get your discount.

  1. North Parking Lot Vendor ($25 – Vendor Economy): This tier offers vendor spaces located in the north parking lot. It’s a great option for vendors looking for a budget-friendly opportunity to showcase their products or services.
  2. Front of Church Vendor ($30 – Vendor Plus): Vendors at this tier will have their spaces set up in front of the church, providing prime visibility to event attendees. It offers enhanced exposure and promotional opportunities compared to the North Parking Lot tier.
  3. Inside Church Vendor ($40 – Vendor Exclusive): This top-tier option offers vendor spaces inside the church, providing a comfortable and shaded environment away from the sun. It’s the perfect choice for vendors selling food or delicate items, offering a premium location for increased sales and customer engagement.
