A power circuit that draws on the back side, gives you information about power distribution between ports, so that heavy energy users can be connected to the right doors. The use of the hub without the wall charger (powered by the host) is possible but only with limited use of ports due to power constraints. Power Delivery (power pass-through per host) is not possible. The LMP USB-C 7 Port Hub does not support DP Altmode. Therefore, using a video adapter on one of its ports is not possible. Using a USB-C (f) to USB-A (m) adapter (not included), it can also be used on older Macs with USB 3.0 ports. Simply connect the USB-C 7 LMP port hub to your host's USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) port (plug & play, no drivers needed), and you don't have to worry about connecting your range of USB peripherals.
